Project 2012 -- Week 38

Project 2012 -- Week 38
September 16-22

Welcome to my Project 2012 weekly post!  This is my time for looking back over the past week, choosing my seven favorites images, and sharing them here with you.  If you have a project you're working on, please leave a comment so I can visit your blog and see what you're up to!

It was so very, very difficult to pick up Ellie and shoot after our silver anniversary trip.  Everything seems so ordinary and mundane.  Once I started, though, the spark came back and I enjoyed finding around-my-home things to capture.  I think the images are ordinary shots, but I consider them transition shots from the amazing/extraordinary to the normal/everyday.  And the normal/everyday is my life, so it's good.  :)

I started in my back yard with these beautiful marigolds, then turned to my beloved veggie garden.  I spent a lovely afternoon wandering and shooting.

[260] Yellow marigolds

[261] Cayenne

[262] Plum tomatoes

[263] Jalapeños

[264] Strawberry leaf

[265] Flowering oregano

[266] Late summer carrots

Next up--hopefully--will be pics from our trip!  I can't wait to share!!

Treasuring life's moments,
Christine

  2. Good job with taking photos of the 'mundane'. That's what I have a hard time with, remembering to see things to photo in my day to day. :)
