365 Project -- #29-35

[29] January 29 -- rose heart; taken at the ICHE Mother Daughter Conference

[30] January 30 -- harp strings

[31] January 31 -- snow-covered stairs

A friend who is taking a photography class called me and asked for HELP.  I gladly went shooting with her on one of the coldest days of the year, and got the stairs (above) to show her perspective.  I had to lie on the ground to get it, and she thought I was crazy.  It took a good 15 minutes in the car with the heater blowing before I felt my fingers again.  I think I'll stick with indoor shots until spring...

[32] February 1 -- Chicago Blizzard of '11

[33] February 2 -- hot tea on its way

[34] February 3 -- "Don't think we'll grill today..."

[35] February 4 -- My favorite tea mug...no longer

Yep, I broke my own tea mug while I was washing the dishes.  Sigh.  I figured I would take a picture of it, since it takes creativity to make something beautiful out of something broken.  That reminds me of what the Lord did for me...

...Giving them a garland instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
Isaiah 61:3 nasb

  3. Dear Christine, wow!!!! Another great week of shots. I absolutely love the harp strings, GORGEOUS!!!

I'm sorry about your tea cup :( keep it, glue it back together and use it for a tea-light candle. I have a tea cup that I dearly love, almost took a shot at it for this week, maybe this coming Sunday. It's not in usable for drinking tea, but I use it as a candle holder; it looks just as lovely. OK, now that I am talking about my tea cup, I must take the shot of it for next week ;)
