This is the time in my week when I look back at the images I've captured
the week before, and choose my seven favorites.
These seven--one for each day of the week--are featured below.
Enjoy!!
Last week was nice and varied, photographically speaking. I try to take Ellie with me when I can (and when it's appropriate) so I can document everyday life. Aaand...here's the next snippet of everyday life!
I've hinted to my husband that it would be nice to go to a farmers market on a Saturday, just for fun. Our local market is Thursday afternoons (yuck for several reasons), and I wanted to see a "real" market, with lots of booths and vendors of all sorts, and have a date all at the same time. Fernando took me to the Wheaton French Market, and I got my wish, plus lots of people and a dizzying array of products offered. Yes, we spent money. But not a lot. :)

I had the privilege of shooting Tressey and her family just a little bit ago (post to appear soon), and I had the extra-special privilege of shooting Tressey's surprise birthday party last week. Her husband hit a grand-slam with this party, hosted at a roller rink! (That's
roller skating, and yes--I had a pair on!)
[240] August 28 -- Surprise!
[241] August 29 -- Hand in hand
Yeah, it was a night of just hangin' around with nothin' to do except take pictures...
[242] August 30 -- Hangin' around
Ingredients lined up on the counter makes it so much easier to make things. This evening it was Caesar salad dressing. Yum.
[243] August 31 -- Making salad dressing
One of my sewing projects with which I occupy my time while waiting for Danny to get out of college class. (I accompany him since he still has his learner's permit, long story...)
[244] September 1 -- Sewing project
My friend
Lori was picking veggies in her "rented" garden space in my back yard, and she spotted this guy. He was HUGE, hence the all-caps. He would turn his head and look right at us; amazing!
[245] September 2 -- Pepper plant surprise
And so went my week. I hope to be on the ball enough to get more posts up; I have a few from portrait sessions and events to get up. I sure hope you have a blessed week after Labor Day!
Capturing the moments of life.
