Theme ~ Spanish Design
This week's theme was chosen at random--which we do every six weeks or so. The only--and I mean only--thing I could come up with for the theme was paella. It's Spanish. There you go. On my header image, I even signed my name Cristina, in the Spanish fashion. I could've written this post in Spanish, too, but I don't think that would help.
We had paella for the first time at our local farmers market; they hold a festival as part of the market and tons of one-time vendors participate. Fernando and I went with Thomas, our youngest. The paella was really good, and the three of us split it.
Here's the full, uncropped image I used for my header.
The only reason I used the above image, and not this one below, is because of the horizontal orientation. And again, there you go!
Yep, that's it! See you all next week!!
Treasuring life's moments,
Christine

I luv Paella, or used to many years ago when as a Teenager - a gang of us went to Spain, happy Memories too, lol (no more info) lol Grand post my Friend Christine.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct with your choice. The people in different regions all thought theirs was best. It was in every restaurant in Spain.
ReplyDeleteYum! Unfortunately on my visit to Spain I did not have paella. Instead got food poisoning from some dicey meat. Ah, well. That was fifty years ago this month and I survived the experience. Wouldn't mind another chance to taste paella, though.
